Privacy Policy
The small print, in plain English. Effective date: 13 September 2026.
This policy explains what personal information DexDojo (dexdojo.com) collects, why, and what rights you have over it. DexDojo is run by Lander Creations, a UK sole trader. You can contact us at [email protected] or by post at Suite 168688, PO Box 7169, Poole, BH15 9EL, United Kingdom.
1. The short version
DexDojo is a free information and tools site. You don't need an account, and we never ask you to sign in or give us personal details to use it. Our tools run in your own browser, and nothing you pick in them is sent to us or stored.
Right now DexDojo doesn't show adverts, doesn't use analytics and doesn't set any cookies of its own. We plan to add adverts (Google AdSense) and affiliate links (Amazon Associates) in future. Before we do, we'll update this policy and add a consent banner so you can choose. We don't sell your personal information.
2. What we collect
- Server and security logs: like almost every website, our hosting company and our security and delivery provider automatically process technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. This is needed to deliver the page, keep the site secure and fix problems. We don't use these logs to build profiles of visitors.
- Anything you send us: if you email [email protected], we receive your email address and your message.
We don't run user accounts, and we don't knowingly collect names, addresses or payment details on this site.
3. Who else is involved
- Krystal Hosting (UK) hosts the website.
- Cloudflare delivers the site and protects it from attacks and abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
When adverts or affiliate links are added, the providers will be listed here first.
4. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)
- Legitimate interests: for delivering and securing the site, and for replying to messages you send us.
- Consent: for any non-essential cookies or personalised advertising we add in future. You'll be asked first and can change your mind at any time.
5. Your rights (UK/EU)
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, or object to how we use it. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
6. Your rights (California and other US states)
If you live in California or a US state with similar privacy laws, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.
- We don't sell your personal information, and we don't currently "share" it for targeted advertising.
- When adverts are added, you'll be able to opt out through the consent banner, and we'll honour your browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
- We won't treat you differently for using these rights. Send requests to [email protected].
7. International transfers
Cloudflare runs a global network, so technical data about your visit may be handled outside the UK. Those transfers rely on the provider's safeguards, such as the UK/EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. How long we keep data
We don't keep a database of visitors. Server and security logs are kept by our providers for a limited time under their own policies. Emails you send us are kept only as long as we need them to deal with your message.
9. Children
DexDojo is for a general audience. We don't ask anyone, of any age, for personal information, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Security
We take sensible technical steps to protect the site, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No website can promise to be 100% secure.
11. Changes
We'll update this policy when the site changes, especially before adding adverts, analytics or affiliate links. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
